Can't pick up Festival Quests from Coordinator - Guild Wars Forums

Please tell me anet didn't overreact and overcompensate AGAIN...

please tell me this is just some glitch I'm having...

But I can't get the quests with any newbie toons.

Even Cantha born ones born before the festival started.

Anyone know why?

my monk from cantha that has reached the mainland can do the quests, i made another canthan charr to hold tickets and she can't do any of the quests.

It's because of this:

An unintended consequence of this change is that new Canthan characters can't do these.

thats what I was afraid of.

Why does their idea of fixing things always screw things up.

Get your character up to level 5, as per the new requirements (http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Fire_in_the_Sky) and you should be fine.

It doesn't take that long to reach level 5 in Cantha, really.

It is just to stop people farming first two quests, nothing big.
